retake SAT1?

hi. i'm hoping to apply to top colleges like.. cornell, u of michigan, rice, NU etc.. i took my SAT1 once and got a 2180. subj test scores: 800 for math2, chem and phy. do you guys think its a good idea to retake my SAT1 this Dec? (got like.. 660 on WR)

For cornell, i think u want like over 700 on wr

i think u might want to take it again, just to get all ur scores over 700. Of course, with 1520 on the other 2 parts, u r getting the others, most likely.

alright.. does cornell take the composite scores of the best sections from multiple seatings? coz i'll only have less than a week ta prep.. so no guarantee the math and Cr scores wouldnt drop.. btw. i'm applying to the engineering schools..

wats ur math?

if its like 760, then don't bother. not if u'll be engineering

math 800, CR 720, WR 660.. so waddya think?

800!!!
wow

u r pretty well off. for and engineering school, i think u're good

by the way, why cornell? its mostly Arts and sciences

just get writing over 700 and you should be fine

most schools take your best section scores to form the best composite, though you might wanna check just to make sure...
