So, I am applying to Duke, MIT, and Princeton in hopes of majoring somewhere in the engineering or science field. I have taken the SAT and got a 2100 with a 640 CR 800 M 660 W and the ACT and got a 33 with a 36 M 32 R 33 SC 32 W. I also took the SAT 2 and got a 800 Bio M 730 Chem 720 Math 2. I took the math subject test at the end of my junior year after taking precal the end of my sophomore year. Consequently, I did do as well on the math part as I probably could. Now, I am in Ap Calc and i remember all the trig stuff, and feel fairly confident that I could do much better on the test an possibly get an 800. I need to register within the next few days, and I cant decide if it is worth it to raise my score or will it not affect their decision that much. PLEASE HELP!!!

bump! please help me!

It’s probably more beneficial to retake SAT I. You don’t really stand a chance at really top schools unless all 3 sections are over 700. You also seem really unbalanced with the high math and low reading and writing.

I would focus on SAT I more than II at this point. Your scores are by no means bad. You have plenty of room to improve in CR and W.

But the thing is I dont think I can improve in those sections and I have already taken it 3 times and I heard not to take it more than that
