Retake the SAT(2280)

I just got my SAT scores and I got 760 math , 730 CR and 790 writing. I am a junior and hence have time left. My extra curricular is quite fine , with an international award in a scrabble tournament and involvement in debates , MUN and my own writing flair as well as music. Does 2280 make a difference to my app? I personally feel not , but I prefer advice over my own hasty moves.

Lol i just asked the same question and i have the same score

Exact same scores in all sections ? What a coIncidence!!! BTW , I am aiming for Stanford , MIT and other good engineering schools …

Honestly, I don’t think that you need to retake the SAT. A 2280 is an amazing score that puts you above the average SAT score at even Stanford and MIT. At this point, I would focus more on taking your subject test scores (make sure that you can get at least two of them above 750). You also might want to take the ACT once just to see what happens, especially as you can go in knowing that even if you mess it up, you still have an awesome SAT score. I would also focus on doing activities that emphasize a passion in one of your EC areas. Good Luck!

@wpgm51 , thanks for the feedback … I guess I will not take the SAT again and focus on my subject tests.

I got similar score: 710 CR, 760 Math and 790 Writing.
I’m realllly concerned about my pathetic reading score…

@Darvey and Ptsunami

Did you guys take the International or United States SAT?

The difference between US and international one being?

Just the curve haha i was just trying to figure out how much each question on the math section was worth, no biggie

Hmm … .I wrote the test in Qatar , but I dont think that actually makes much of a difference …
