[Same overall total as PSAT (700, 790, 780)]

Took tons of practice tests and usually range 680 -740 on CR... so there is no reason to think this will go significantly up without serious practice/studying.

At the same time, could lose the 800 in math (did 800 on SATII).

Writing....1 mc wrong and didn't finish essay.

Initial thought is to let it go...applying for engineering. The 710 hurts.

I think thats a pretty great score. Go spend a Saturday morning doing something fun! With a score that high, your SAT won’t be the thing keeping you out of top colleges.

If you’re content with it, and don’t feel that you can do significantly better on CR, then don’t retake.

It’s easy to drop from 800 math, given the math curve. You also said that you don’t think your CR can improve significantly without practice. It’s a solid score, so go do something else :)

While what rainbowrose said is pretty inaccurate about scores having no effect on your chances once you’re in a certain range, you (OP) yourself doubt your ability to drastically improve the CR score and maintain an 800 M so I would definitely advise against retaking.
