So i got a 2110 on the June SAT, 800 Cr, 610 math, 700 writing. Should i retake if i'm thinking about schools like Cornell, Bowdoin, Upenn, Northwestern?

Oh, and i don't have any hooks and my EC's aren't too stellar.

Oh, and 760 Chem SAT II, 29 ACT, and about a 3.9 UW GPA, 4.4 W.

Yeah, retake for sure. Get some prep books and really familiarize yourself with the type of math problems on the SAT. Many people, including myself, had lower scores in Math on the June SAT; I think it was a TON harder than normal.

2110 is a good score. But you definitely can go up in English. I have a simiar situation. I am taking a math class and doing some of the books. They say I can bring my 660 up to a 730

2110 is a decent score, but I don't know if it's quite good enough for schools like Cornell and U Penn. I would say if you have the chance to retake, do it. If it's still giving you problems, try retaking the ACT, possibly. I find the ACT much easier to do well on than the SAT, but that might just be me.
