Retake? What do you think, young one?

So i got a 2110 on the June SAT, 800 Cr, 610 math, 700 writing. Should i retake if i'm thinking about schools like Cornell, Bowdoin, Upenn, Northwestern?

Oh, and i don't have any hooks and my EC's aren't too stellar.

Oh, and 760 Chem SAT II, 29 ACT, and about a 3.9 UW GPA, 4.4 W.

Yeah, retake for sure. Get some prep books and really familiarize yourself with the type of math problems on the SAT. Many people, including myself, had lower scores in Math on the June SAT; I think it was a TON harder than normal.

dang that's some nice cr score right there. i wish i can get that lol... study for math, people usually recommend Gruber's ..

No. only if you want.

2110 is a good score. But you definitely can go up in English. I have a simiar situation. I am taking a math class and doing some of the books. They say I can bring my 660 up to a 730

I went from a 630 to 740 using grubers.

2110 is a decent score, but I don't know if it's quite good enough for schools like Cornell and U Penn. I would say if you have the chance to retake, do it. If it's still giving you problems, try retaking the ACT, possibly. I find the ACT much easier to do well on than the SAT, but that might just be me.

how did u get 800 in cr......focus on math.......i wish i had your cr score.....
