Retake with a 2310?

So, I took the SATs in March and got a 2310:

800 : Reading
800 : Writing
710 : Math

The curve on Math for March was apparently terrible; I got four questions wrong, and didn't skip any questions, so I was really surprised with the grade I got. I was considering retaking them next year (I can't take them in May or June because of APs/SAT2s).

I'm applying to highly competitive schools (HYPS, Ivies, etc), so the 710 concerns me. I also come from a science and math magnet school that has plenty of people getting 800s in the SAT Math section, so I want to pull up my math.

What do you think? Thanks in advance.

y dont u just take a math sat 2 to make up for it

math i is a joke for most colleges, and math 2 is more difficult (i've seen) than the math in SATs. i wouldn't mind going through the sat again, so that's why i figured i'd retake the math.

Perhaps you should retake it; the math is the easiest, after all, and if you can bring it up to an 800 you will have superscored a 2400. Although you're going to have to take the Math2C anyways

i would suggest not taking a 2300+, i mean that is a dream score for most people

^^^^^ And "most people" aren't applying to HYPMS like the OP said he's going to do next year.
