Retake? Yay or nay?

Is it worth it to retake simply for the sake of seeing if you do better as opposed to that score actually being useful to you?

I'm completely up in the air about my score. I skipped a ton on the math because I've had time management problems I haven't reconciled yet. On Writing I had no idea what I was doing, but I was hoping that if I went by ear it would at least be cushioned by my essay (I fell asleep trying to cram silverturtle's guide into my head, which didn't work out very well). CR I feel pretty good about, except I know I second-guessed myself a few times and changed the right answers to the wrong ones. However, I signed up to do a couple SAT subject tests already in December. I figured, though, December would be my last shot for admission deadlines and I need to take those subject tests for a number of colleges that require it of me. So I would have to take the SAT again in January or some other time in the spring. But is it worth it to retake simply just to see if you can do better?

On a side note, waiting for the score on my first SAT has been unbearable.

Lol, go for it. I don’t see the point, but hey, if u do good, it boosts your self esteem.

lol what a waste of money. no one cares about sat scores in the real world, once college admissions are over
