sigh.. I've gotten 800's before on practice tests for CR but i got:

Math 800
Writing 800
Reading 730

Should i retake, because colleges don't even look at writing? =/

meh
You shouldn’t really retake this exam 2300+ is already a great score.

You should try for a 2400 :p

hey gensis, congrats man. how much prep did you put in ?

Don’t retake IMO, from what I’ve seen of people’s apps I’m starting to think there is a top echelon, or a sort of glass ceiling point where they just label you as smart and look at other aspects of the applicant. Like maybe 2300 or so?

Just relax and don’t go through the ***** of the SAT again. I wouldn’t, but consider that I’m pretty lazy ;)

Haha I did about a ptest a day and 2 ptests during Saturday for the 2 months before Oct and Nov SAT.

and what did you score on oct?

Would you say practice tests are the best way to study? all I ever did was read direct hits. ****…now I gotta decide whether or not to take the jan test

Definitely. Practice tests, i think, are the best way to get better.

Colleges aren’t going to accept you just because you got a 2400 instead of a 2330…

I am in the same condition as you. low CR with other two perfect. Not sure what to do. But i think there is still a difference in admission between getting 800 and 730 for critical reading.

Yeah I’m really not sure because I’ve gotten 800’s in CR on practice tests before, but I’m wondering how colleges would perceive me trying to take it again
