I got 2400 on the November 3 SAT. Retake?

I would definitely retake. The average SAT at most Ivy League schools falls around 2560. Make sure you brush up on those extra credit questions on the back. The abstract algebra ones were okay, but the number theory ones really got me.

Yes, definitely. Colleges might think you were just lucky, so if you can get a 2400 one or two more times, it would drastically improve your chances.

Of course. 2400 is too low, you won’t get accepted anywhere with a 2400.

why did you bother asking this question… common man

These are my theories about why the OP posted this:
-It’s a typo; he actually got a 2040 (or a 2300 and his finger slipped).
-He’s afraid that colleges will assume it was a fluke, especially if he has mediocre grades that wouldn’t jibe well with such a high score.
-He is a ■■■■■.

yes do it with no calculator next time or you dishonor

LOL…Holden in the Rye,but yeah try to aim for a perfect score…3000
