My jan SAT ended up being 790 in CR, 800 in math, and 690 in writing. I've gotten about the same score in each section for the two SATs I've already taken. My question is: does the writing section matter enough to colleges for me to retest? I'm very pleased with the rest of my scores so I'm not sure.

~~~
bump?
as long as you’re happy with it, your score’s fine :)
plus, you got a 2300, which is what many overachievers aim to break
& personally, i don’t think that colleges really care too much about the writing section (it’s just something to make your full score look “prettier”). a lot of schools actually only ask for your reading and math scores, so look out for those ;)
you should start focusing on your sat ii’s (if you haven’t already). good luck!
