<p>I got a D in a class at one state university, when I enroll at a UC next fall can I retake this class to replace my D? I'm looking at ucla/ucsb/ucsd. Or will they say since I got my D at a non UC I can't replace it?</p>

<p>I'm sure you can retake it -- and you should if it is part of you core subjects. If it is an irrelevant elective, then you might be better off taking something you enjoy.</p>
<p>BTW, my son took a course in his major for which he had AP credit. He was really happy that he did.</p>
