Retaking a Class I Already Took

Freshman year I took an AP Class. That class's work basically screwed me up in Geometry Honors. That year I wasn't ready for AP, but my father went to the school and made me. Well, I got an A in it once, but semester wise I got a B twice. Which hurt my GPA. I'm just wondering is it possible for me to retake it on FLVS even if I took it already, and that grade can be replaced with a new one? I did my homework, but I never really payed attention since it was my first period class, and the one class I choose to not try on. (HUGE REGRET). I'm really good at math and it frustrates me b/c I have like a 103% in Algebra 2 Honors right now, and did the Same in ALG. 1. I really want to relearn Geometry b/c it would help for the SAT's, and what I missed out on last year.

First, do not retake it, self study if you want to do well on the SATs. Second, your first sentence is unintelligible.

it’s just one b.geez

Actually 2 out of 2 in that class, but I also managed to get a couple other B’s like in my AP Class and a misunderstanding that I can’t change from 8th grade. This year (10th) All A’s this whole year.

bump…

serves you right.

lol your funny. I mean 3.8 UW is good for me, but you never know what comes ahead in the future.

I think you should cry about it and then try to spell “you’re” correctly.

It’s not that yet, but at the end of the year it will. I see the chance forum and it freaks me out.

you should retake it at a local community college. for us, it gives you credit for real college and it doesnt take away another class in our schedules since its over the summer anyway.

Similar problem: Had like 8 classes each semester because of weird scheduling and took and AP freshman year online outside of school. Put me behind and I did all of algebra II in 3 days, earning me a B. I made it up with a 99 in honors pre-cal, but I didn’t get the foundation I needed.

I recommend you teach yourself geometry, maybe with an AoPS book… I’m thinking about doing the same.
