I'm thinking I may not pass a course I took for breadth that has nothing to do with my major. Someone told me that if you retake the course and pass, it replaces the ugly NP on your record with a P. Is this true?

yes but i dont think you get units both times

You don’t get units for failing a class. :p

I’m bumping this up. If you retake a class you got a NP for, how will it look on your transcript? Will the class you got a NP for ~~magically disappear?

Or will it show like:

Class that you failed: NP
Class that you failed and took again: P

Thanks. It would be cool if anyone could give input on this while I go into a corner and cry over law school.

There’s gonna be an asterisk or some letter saying you retook it.
