retaking a class?

<p>my friend got a c+ in acc 272..and she's thinking about retaking it and was wondering if her new grade erased the old one..or if they average the two on the transcript? anyone know how this works?</p>

<p>i don't think it's worth to retake, considering the median is a b-.</p>
