Hey everyone, I'm currently enrolled at my local SUNY CC for Business here in New York. After I'm done with my 2 year degree, I want to transfer into a 4 year SUNY school (Possibly Cortland or Brockport). My question is this.. In my freshman year I took an accounting class and ended up getting a D for this class. The rest of the semester went really well. Credits will only transfer to most SUNY schools if they are a C or higher. If I retake accounting this year and receive a better grade, will that D grade still be on my transcript? And how would this play into my overall GPA?

Sorry if a similar question has been asked before, I searched but couldn't exactly find the answer. Thanks!
