retaking a test 3 times?

The first time I took Math IIC, I got 760, but after retaking it in November, I don't think I did so well. I didn't really prepare for it the second time around, and I realize my error. Now I'm debating over whether or not to study it a lot (Barrons) and give it one last shot in December.

Will taking Math IIC three times be a detriment? If my score on the November test turns out to be lower than my first score, then would it be beneficial to take it again and go for an 800?

Thanks.

What is wrong with you? I mean, really now.

Cancel now and take it again, if you MUST have an 800.

Ok, I know that retaking a 760 sounds unreasonable, but in context, I don't really think so. A 760 on Math IIC is around the 83rd percentile, so there is a higher standard for this test than others.

I can't cancel the test I took either, because it wasn't the only one I took.
Is a drop in my Math IIC score something to consider retaking, or should I just let it be?

Study, retake, get an 800, and your other scores will be immaterial.
