I got a 26 composite on my act in October of 2004. 26/26/25/25 broken down. I'm about to graduate in 2 months but I've decided on a state school so I plan on retaking it once more. I'm going to be standbying for the April 8th test date. My question is, how difficult is a 30 composite on the ACT? I would try to study every day until test day, even though I have other work; I would make as much time as possible. My plan is to go through an entire book once (suggestions here?) and then take around 10-15 practice tests by test day. Would this be enough to raise my score? I'm not sure if I can even do that much, but if I set a goal for myself can I expect it? I've heard from other people that it is a really difficult goal.. help please?

Dude what's up with your math score- only a 26!

Pull that up to atleast a 33, learn some grammar rules and get a 32, pick up a few classical books and get a 30 reading, and science hope you get an easy test.

Yea I was in honors algebra II trig - I started out doing algebra 1 in 2002, geometry in 2003, so I was really weak in math, and algebra II kicked my ass when I know it shouldn't. I'm in precalculus now and I practically own at math so I think I should be able to pull that up. I just dont understand what books are the best; I want one book that gives advice on everything and techniques, and I want a book with 10 practice tests; do you guys know these best books for these 2 categories?
