I had self-studied the AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics this year as a sophomore and believe I got a 5 and a 4, respectively. These would be alright scores except for the fact that I plan on majoring in Econ in college so my Macro isn't great.... Anyway, I am exposed to the subject matter every year due to my extracurricular activities so it wouldn't be that much trouble to retake Macro.....except I'm not sure if you're allowed. Are you? If you are allowed to retake the SAT Subject Tests shouldn't you be allowed to retake the AP exams?

You’re allowed to retake them

^ will the old score get erased pretty much?

I think if you want a very clear answer on this topic, you can always email CB.

From what I’ve read from these forums over the past few months, it’s possible to retake AP exams. It will show on your score report that it’s a repeat, I think.

Great thank you!!

Yeah, I think it shows repeats on the score report.
