<p>If i take the PSAT soph year and get like very close to full score, does it get marked on my transcript? the answer is no, right? ok so then i HAVE TO retake it junior year, and even if the score turns out to be worse, i have to accept it and the soph one is entirely for practice?</p>
<p>yes, sophomore year was just practice for your junior year.</p>
<p>Not sure about the transcript, but competition for National Merit only uses your Junior year score and throws any other ones out.</p>

<p>The PSAT is not even marked on your transcript. it is solely for the purpose of the scholarship and practice. Also only juniors can qualify for the scholarship.</p>
