Currently I have a GPA of about a 3.4 and I am in my last term this year. I am thinking of retaking classes from grade 10 in order to raise my GPA. I know it is possible, but I am wondering how it will look on my transcript. Will it show both marks, the old one, or the new one? Also, will universities frown upon taking a class again?

You have to take that up with your counselor. Schools vary in their policies that's definitely something you should talk about with your counselor.

Depending on how it's shown on your transcript, universities could frown upon it. For example, if you got a D in Algebra I and next to it is an "A", Harvard won't be too happy- you somehow screwed up a lot. However, if your transcript only shows you got an A, then they wouldn't care. It's not something you'll probably have to deal with though.

Well, at least you'll learn the material better. I retook a bunch of math classes several times (not in high school), and it really helped me get a handle on the subject matter.
