<p>stupid question, but does it look bad if you retake a class and end up getting a higher grade? i'm premed, if that makes any difference. and do professors tend to be lenient when you ask for them to lower your grade to a C- so you could be able to retake the class?</p>

<p>I sincerely doubt that any professors are going to LOWER your grade just so you can have the chance to re-take it.</p>

<p>And retaking classes is only advisable when you fail them. And even then, you’re not exactly going to take a black eye and make it into eyeliner. You’re just putting coverup on it. </p>
<p>Not that I know anything about makeup.</p>
<p>Both grades would be averaged if you were to retake the class for medical schools…</p>
