Hi y'all,
This past semester, I decided to withdraw from biology at a top 20 university. Now I am in the sticky situation of determining my summer plans, and I need some advice. I need to retake the course, and I can retake the course at Loyola university of chicago. Obviously, it is not a top 20 school, but is a respectable four year university (and not a community college). Should I take this course over the summer to replace biology? I am faced with the other option of staying at my university this summer and taking a physics course. I have heard its better to take classes over the summer at your university. Is either advisable? Will taking biology at a "lesser" college (note* Loyola is still a very good school, but may not be as challenging) stain my medical school application? I am not trying to take the easy way out, but I do have a few job offers back home in Chicago so I would prefer to stay home. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

^ In addition to above, I could take a full year of physics at Northwestern U this summer, which is technically* according to rankings, a superior school to my own. Would medical schools find a problem with me doing this? This would allow me to stay at home in Chicago, and take an important premed requirement at a challenging university. The reason I can’t do just one semester at Northwestern is because they operate on the trimester system, so either it is the full courseload, or none.
