Retaking passed courses...

I plan on transferring to a UC from my local community colleges. But, I have a few C's that are bringing down my GPA. If I retake these courses will the UC's calculate the retake into my GPA when I apply?

You can’t retake a C. End of story. no further more questions will be asked for retake a C.

You CAN’T.

The only way you can retake a C is by changing the LAW which likely no.

Pretty much useless. You can retake it but… they will take the score you got your first time around.

only point is to refresh ur memory. they will not replace that C!

Once you’ve passed a course they’re going to accept the grade that’s already on your transcript. If you had a D or F or a withdraw you could retake the course and have the grade replaced without a problem, as long as it was the same course from the same college. However, you’re pretty much out of luck now unless your school has a policy where they do academic renewal for a C. Most CCCs will not let you retake a course for credit once you’ve already passed the course. Basically though you have to find a way where the community college you’re currently at will replace the Cs on your transcript, otherwise when you go to transfer the UCs are ONLY going to look at the grade you received the first time you passed the course.
