Retaking question-should I or should I not?

Ok ,so I just got my scores for the SAT and I got a 2100, which I'm very happy about :) I also took the ACT in April and got a 29. I signed up to retake the ACTs on June 11th. I did not think I would do well on the SATs because I got a 174 on the PSAT. My mom was really excited about my scores and says not to take the ACTs again, but I feel bad because we paid for it. Also, the ACTs are on the same weekend that I need to study for the finals. And I truly believe that i can do better on the ACTs if I try one more time.
Two things I'm worried about:
1. Affirmative Action- I'm an Indian girl and I'm freaked out about not being accepted anywhere because of Affirmative Action. I have a 3.7ish weighted GPA and I know my scores/gpa aren't great for my ethnicity. So I feel like I have to retake so I get accepted.
2. My breakdown was 660M/700CR/740W. Are there any colleges that only look at M/CR. Would this affect much seeing that my math score is lower than the others.
Gah...um I want to major in communications disorders and hopefully go to a decent school like UMASS Amherst or Northeastern.

Either you improved a lot over the course of a month or you’re just better at the SAT. I’d suggest taking an ACT practice test and seeing how you score on that. Then decide whether or not to take it again.

Actually my ACT score is only a little lower. A 29 ACT is like a 1980 SAT i think.
