googled it but i didn't find any info on it so i am hoping someone on this site knows some stuff. I have taken about 9 regent's and all were in the 80s range. All final grades at my school count the regents as finals. Now the question is, is if i can somehow retake these regent's in august and pull 95s on them. (it will be def be easier and with a couple of practice tests ii think i can pull it off.) anyways i talked to 2 friends and they said it is possible and that any regents that is retaken replaces the previous grade. Now i wish to ask you guys if this is legit?

yes, people in my school did it this year but now they are getting rid of some august and january ones and getting rid of languages altogether so you might want to check if the ones you want to retake are still offered

Yeah, you can retake them. I doubt that they will change your class average if they get averaged in at your school, but the better grade will show up on your transcript.

A lot of tests are not being administered at all besides in June so check it out. I believe that all of the ones not needed for the basic Regents diploma are only offered in June but I could be wrong.

Good luck!
