Is it bad to retake the SAT IIs? I'm really shaky about how well I'll do in the Chemistry tomorrow... so I may retake it in October when I'm taking the Japanese SAT II.

I'm aiming for Ivies/top 25/UVA, so would a 600ish score be really bad, or not worth retaking?

(not planning to major in chem btw)

if you are going to major in chem i think you ought to get a good score in sat 2 chem..... if you are aiming for ivy league you probably will need 750++ in chem...

however, some colleges dont even look at sat 2 (ie. u of michigan), so make a list of the colleges you want to apply to, and check the requirements

I took four Sat II's. All of them twice. Improved on the second time on three of the four tests. I don't think SAT II's are that important.

I took 3 sat II's, got rejected from my top choices, now i am retaking 2 sat II's to prepare for transfer after my fresman year at u of melbourne
