<p>Before this summer, I had very little idea about college admissions. I didn't even know the SAT subject tests existed! So, while I was still uninformed, my school signed up juniors to take the April ACT. I did very well on it (comp 35), which I was not expecting. Unfortunately it did not include the writing portion, which I have learned is required for many of the colleges I want to apply to.</p>
<p>My question is this: will colleges look down on the fact that I retook the test when I already had a high score?</p>
