Retaking the ACT/SAT?

<p>I'm currently a senior in my high school but I will probably be transferring after a year or two to hopefully a much better university.</p>

<p>Anyway;</p>

<p>OK - what are the guidelines for ACT/SAT retakes - I tried reading around and checking and I'm kind of confused and I have a couple of questions.</p>

<p>Is there a limit to how many times you can retake these tests in general and/or is there a college limit - is it individual to each college etc, etc?</p>

<p>oh and one more question - I hope to be applying to Brown University in two years and I haven't taken the SAT I or SAT II - I've looked at a lot of accepted Ivy league student forums and they all have took the ACT and the SAT I and II. I've read on the website however that you can have either the ACT + writing or the SAT I/II. Does this make a huge different or not?</p>
