hi i'm a junior and i just finished taking some AP tests and I thought i did well on 2 of them (4, maybe a 5) but one of them completely killed me, and i didn't study well or prepare so i think I may have gotten a 2.

i'm trying to get one of the AP awards from college board and sophomore year i took 2 and got a 4 and a 5.

if i re-take the test next year, would my old score erase and the new score completely take its place? if not, is it recommended to re-take?

thanks!

I'm also in a similar position, but I'm a senior. I need a 4 or 5 to get credit, but I think I might've gotten a 3. Is it possible to retake them as a freshman in college?

woohoo that site just answered my question! bummer that the previous scores stay on though...

about your question, i'm pretty sure you can't but i bet they can make exceptions. just look around

do you think colleges will think anything of it if you repeat an AP Test you got a 4 on to get a 5?
