I got a 630 on the SAT Subject U.S. History without taking any practice tests or familiarizing myself with the test format. It showed. If I study via one of the review books for the next week and a half, take practice tests, etc., what is the most that a person could reasonably raise their score. (Note: I took AP US History this year.)

If you read AMSCO and assess yourself on the material to ensure you know it, I’m sure you could get an 800.

I studied out of AMSCO for the AP exam and took the subject test as a last minute decision. I got a 790.
