So I SIR'd to Berkeley last week or so because I didn't really want to pay the extra tuition for Cornell. I've been pretty excited for Cal and was really looking forward to attending there for Fall semester. However, I just talked to my supervisor at the company I intern for and she said I can now qualify for the tuition reimbursement program. That would be an extra $5000 - $9000 (possibly more), added to a $2000 scholarship, and the rest my parents said they will pay.

After looking at the new costs, I can definitely see myself going to Cornell. I understand I will lose my SIR deposit, but that's not that important to me. So how exactly do I retract my SIR? My student portal at Cal has been pretty buggy lately and it keeps logging me out, so would it be possible to do it over phone/fax/in person? More importantly, WHEN is the last date to do this?
