Return Addresses

Does anyone know if the return addresses on recommendation letters have to be the address of the school or the teacher?

My teachers put the school. Then again, they printed on school letterhead with the school's address and everything.

Why would it be the teacher's home address?

It was a very confusing time for me...
Actually, it was just the teacher's name with the school's address. I'm more worried about the cases where I gave the teachers envelopes with my return address.

Ah... My school's policy is to have teachers give their recs to GC and she seals it with her rec and transcript in one envelope, then give it the STUDENT to send.

What problems could arise from you givin' the teachers envelopes with your return address?

I think there are some schools that are paranoid about students reading recommendations.

Actually, I'm just procrastinating. Now that I've admitted it, I'll go back to working on my college essays. It was nice meeting you.

Ahh, gotch about the paranoia.

Nice to meet you, too. Best of luck. (I hate being in a time zone ahead of the US!)
