When do people normally return for the spring semester?

We can go back as soon as the 12th, but classes don't start until the 19th. If I go earlier in that week (I was thinking the 13th), will I be lonely since no one's there yet, and hungry (I don't know when the DCs open)?

Are there lots of parties, since classes haven't started yet?

DC’s reopen at the 13th, so you shouldn’t starve
you can always attend the basketball games on thursday and saturday nights at Haas Pavilion.

only Crossroads opens that early. If you are in Unit 3, 4, or 5 you’re going to want to walk if you are looking to use your points.

Home is gonna get really boring by the 12th, so I’m gonna show up as soon as possible, and hopefully find some parties in the frats that week… and if not just chill in the dorms I guess

Most of the spring semester freshmen should be there on the 13th, since that is their move in day.

I thought I wanted to stay till the 17th or the 18th but its so boring in the suburbia. Really makes you appreciate how fun and fruitful the college town can be.

Don’t most people return ASAP to psyche themselves up for the semester. I see a lot of people milling around/moving in around then and lots of people in the library. I think they buy their textbooks beforehand and then just prepare before the semester has started. I know but welcome week a TON of people are already back to study and hunker down for the semester.
