Yes, I would be allowed to wear a mask, but very few others would be wearing one. I would feel far more comfortable if others wore them too.
HR agreed to allow me to work from home as long as I had a letter from my doctor requesting that accommodation for medical reasons. I haven’t needed to do that because our county went to orange status per the CDC so return to office has been postponed for now.
My company does employee engagement surveys twice per year. The latest survey was conducted right around the time we were supposed to return to office. Our employee engagement scores dropped drastically compared to prior surveys, mainly in safety which has always been our strong point. I apparently am not alone in my concern.
