Returning Harvard (Ivy League) College students

Am I right to assume that any returning Harvard student who receive the need based aid during freshman year, has to reapply for FAFSA / CSS Profile forms for next three years. Thanks

Correct. One may need to submit tax forms also.

Yes I will submit the tax forms. Are you done at Wharton? Thanks

Kid is attaending the college, but I still have questions along the way.

<a href="http://www.fao.fas.harvard.edu/renewal_instructions.htm%5B/url%5D">http://www.fao.fas.harvard.edu/renewal_instructions.htm</a></p>

Newparent: Yes, you will have to do FAFSA and Profile again, but it is not necessary to rush and do it early in January this time around. If I recall correctly, they will contact you with renewal information. They process the applicants first.

Thanks for the info. I find so many people so helpful

at CMU, We also had to complete annually, the school's "Request for FA" to qualify for unsubsid Stafford/PLUS. submit W2's, and signed entire tax returns. We were 100% full pay but we requested Stafford and PLUS , and son received an institutional grant. Every year we had some type of glitch that delayed disbursement of funds. Senior year we never got fall semester paid until Jan, (school's error).

FAFSA and CSS required along with forms required every year at Harvard. You can do it as late as August before school starts. Late will not affect your aid, but they do start penalizing you $50 a month after June. H is very good about keeping your aid level from year to year unless you have a major change in finances.
