Hi, I am currently 23 and stayed away from school for 3 years because I wasn't doing well, didn't know what I wanted to do, and I couldn't afford it. I'm just curious, how serious will Indiana take my previous college stats from 2008-2009 when I am doing much better now? By much better, I mean I should have about a 3.7 GPA at an OOS CC (Bergen Community in Jersey) after this semester with 1 more semester to go. Obviously I am shooting for straight A's every semester so that is self-explanatory to go for next semester, too.

I did the same thing. You’re in much better shape then I was, just email the Dean or Assistant Dean of your school to return under probation.

mrlinkcc, I went to Monmouth in 2008 and 2009, not Indiana.

My apologies I did not see that. In any case, IU is fairly forgiving of past performance IF you show renewed determination in academics. It seems as if you are doing well. Just keep talking to IU staff and don’t take no for an answer.

Alright, thank you for the info!
