Returning Student chances

Hello.

I'm curious what the admission chances are for a student applying via the Returning Student Application. I withdrew from 2 quarters in a row, and via the UW's rules (in order to register for a future quarter) , this necessitates the need to apply with a returning student application. The deadline for Winter quarter (November 1st) has already passed, so my plans are to attend EdCC winter quarter, taking general education classes that I still need (10 writing, 10 I&S, 5 additional area of knowledge, and Math 307 equivalent) and apply before the Returning Student February 1st deadline in order to attend UW in the Spring.

I have 88 earned credits (25 that i brought with me from IB diploma, and 63 earned at the UW) and with Geology as my intended major.

Thank you.

This is something that you should really talk to an advisor about. If you were on track with your degree and had a reasonable motive for taking a break, I suspect that the application will be more of a formality and that you’ll be re-admitted posthaste.
