PS Mini, this is not a link to the engineering rankings, but to an article related to a past discussion- "As far as I am aware, there are no schools in the country, of ANY size, that has more undergraduate Fulbrights than Smith (undergraduates includes alumni, but not any in graduate school who applied through graduate school.) As far as I am aware, none."

<a href="http://www.brown.edu/Administration/Dean_of_the_College/fellowships/newsletters/current.pdf#search=%22Fulbright%20Brown%22%5B/url%5D">http://www.brown.edu/Administration/Dean_of_the_College/fellowships/newsletters/current.pdf#search=%22Fulbright%20Brown%22</a></p>

Thanks. I stand correctly. At least one (with well over double the enrollment, and without 10% of the student body being older, returning students).

I agree with ticklemepink completely -Smith didn't do much for me in terms of pushing my classroom performance or participation, but I do think it helped me build confidence in social situations, being generally a more forgiving environment than coed schools. The reason for this, I'm still trying to figure out -whether it was the types of women the school attracted, a lack of competition between women trying to impress men, etc.

passionflower8- I'm at Colgate University now... in my second year (aka junior year).

I left Smith specifically for three reasons: weak history department (my major), too "isolated" from home, and not the right fit for me socially and culturally. There were secondary factors but they're not important. Overall, I was disillusioned by the viewbooks and saw that Smith wasn't the right school for me.
