<p>So I applied to a school using their "special" application, which said it didn't require me to write an essay. I submitted and was fine. Yesterday, I got an email informing me that they still had not received my personal statement. Since admission on this application is rolling and I want an answer ASAP, I figured I would just mail them an essay. My problem is that my common app essay is FAR from done. I wrote an essay earlier this year for admission to a summer program (it was answering a college essay question and in that style, of course) and thought it was pretty good...can I send them that essay or is doing such a thing uncouth?
