I applied to cornell and got in last year but decided to attend another school. i've decided that i should've picked cornell since it would have fit me a lot better. I've spent time at cornell with friends and realized its much better for me so i've decided to reapply as a transfer. Should i write a completely new essay or can i reuse my old one? i really loved the one i wrote in the initial process because it was very unique and i doubt i could think of something as unique. i would still have to write a few new ones for the transfer app but one of their essay questions can be answered by my old essay which i really want to use, i think it got me into a lot of schools the first time around. Can i reuse it without it hurting my app? and are the transfer admissions officers the same as the regular admissions officers?

I plan on submitting my generic college admissions essay for the second essay on the Yale transfer app. The first one is the "Why Transfer", that one you should probably come up with for each transfer application (because obviously the reasons are different). The more specific about the reasons, the better I think.
