Hey, everyone! I'm new here so I hope I'm doing this correctly...

I'm applying to a few UCs and a handful of OOS schools.

One of the UC prompts (basically about my intended major, what experiences have i had in this field, and what have i gained from it) seems to be pretty reusable for my other schools using the Common App.

So my problem is, I would like to change it up a bit and use it for my personal statement... And while I may be able to do that for some schools that don't ask this question at all, some of the other schools ask a similar question for their supplement essays...
I'm not sure what I should do. Because it seems like a pretty important topic to talk about if the school doesn't ask for it in the supplement. To me, it makes sense to have a general topic like the UC prompt as the personal statement... But other schools ask for it again in the supplement! -_-.
I've considered creating two common application things(...?). If I remember correctly, this was possible to do when I was going through my senior year application process (so people could personalize personal statements). Does that still work for transfer students?

Not sure what to do.

Thanks!
