Reusing passages in different study guides?

I'm thinking of getting Barron's SAT Critical Reading Workbook (because I absolutely suck at CR).

I have Barron's How to Prepare for the SAT 2007 at the moment. I know they reuse passages for different editions (I don't think they even change the passages), but would the 2 study guides have the same CR passages?

Oh, and is Kaplan New SAT Critical Reading Workbook better or Barron’s SAT Critical Reading Workbook better?

I’ve worked through the reading passages in Kaplan’s 12 practice tests already, so if Kaplan New SAT Critical Reading Workbook is better, does Kaplan repeat it’s passages in Kaplan New SAT Critical Reading Workbook?

you clearly have not been here very long. barrons/pr/kaplans are all crap

I also got CB’s BB and I heard that Barron’s is fine…

You heard wrong.

So Barron’s SAT 2400 and Barron’s How to Prepare for the SAT is totally different? Like one is really good while the other is really bad? But they’re both by the same publisher…

And besides, I think it’s pretty ironic if I want a good SAT score and I spend more time on CC’s SAT forums than actually studying for SAT.

So does anyone know whether they re-use passages for Barron’s? I want harder CR passages because I’m really aiming for those high scores

Do you even read our replies?

If I did, then I wouldn’t be asking the same questions over and over again.

So does anyone know whether they re-use passages for Barron’s?

LOl. Dont use Barron’s for anything but its CR strategies. Use BB for TEST QUESTIONS and only the BB. Nothing more to it but to do it.
