Revelle College at UCSD

I was admitted to UCSD for fall 2012, but I got my fourth choice college...Revelle. I've read nothing but mostly negative things about it's GE's, dorms, and social atmosphere haha.
I was wondering if anyone who went or currently goes to Revelle would have some input on the situation- how bad are the GE's really, and should I try to switch colleges?

For reference, I'm an engineering major.

Any possible opinions would be greatly appreciatedddd guys

You can check your admission decision already? They never sent me an email! How do you go about checking it? And are the other UC’s releasing decisions yet?

Oh nvm. A friend who also applied helped me check my status. I got into Muir College!

OP, you should ask this question in the UCSD forum. You get more specific answer. IIR, Muir has the least requirements. Revelle is the worst.

Hey guys,
I have been admitted to Thurgood Marshall college.
And I wanted to ask you if it is THAT bad…

Thank You.

I was admitted to Eleanor Roosevelt as a mathematics major i am from Washington so i just randomly chose colleges can you please tell me the difference.

Thank you

Yeah, I got put into Revelle as well (also an engineering major). I don’t really know what I was thinking -temporary insanity maybe?- but I put Revelle as my first choice on the UC application.

Unfortunately, now I’m struggling to deal with the fact of whether I should go to UCSD or not. Is Revelle do-able for an engineering major?

That’s why I was reasearching about the 6 colleges while filing out my app.
I first ranked them randomly because I did not understand the point but then I did some research so I ranked Revelle as my 6th, and Sixth as my 5th
I picked Muir as my 1st but got in Marshall 2nd choice which is acceptable
