Hello :)
Can anyone list some pros and cons about Revelle? How does it compare to Muir?
Especially for someone looking to go into medicine.

My biggest con with Revelle is that I don’t like the dining hall’s food. :(

That’s your biggest con? Well, that’s not too shabby at all, haha :D

i just found out two of my friends got into muir now i really wish i had applied first choice as muir too grr
but how are revelle’s dorms??

and does anyone know about all campus housing?

Which is better is you want to study medicine? Revelle or Muir?
Can we change our college??

I was just accepted to Revelle, all I know is that it’s good if you want grad school, because it is known to have harder requirements.

By the way, did anyone else accepted to Revelle not get their major written in their acceptance note? Mine just said,

“On behalf of the faculty, staff, and students of the University of California, San Diego – congratulations on your admission to Revelle College!”

With nothing regarding my major. I applied BME.

revelle is the place to go for grad school guys, so anyone wanting medicine or interested in pursuing a master’s degree should be gitty you got into here. muir IS more relaxed tho and easier in all aspects because of its relaxed amount of GE’s.

CONGRATS KIDS, we got into revelle :)

Yay ajdavidson, glad to hear I’m right 'bout that. That’s why I wanted Revelle, that and it’s the oldest school.

i guess yay now haha

[Revelle College](http://revelle.ucsd.edu/)

revelle had some pretty decent housing, the surrounding area is nice on campus. its also right off the road that leads to the beach :)

i liked the housing at revelle, not as good as rosevelt, and no high rise like muir, but they are ok. you will have either a 6, 8, or 10 person suite tho, which includes everything from a single room to a triple, sharing bathrooms. not too shabby, get ready to mingle with people

I love people, not a problem.
But I really want that single room. xD Oooh it’s the ones right off the beach? Yes! I see those dorms a lot and they’re pretty, at least from the outside. :)

Revelle students MUST stay at the Revelle housing unit?

^ most of the time muir students get put into warren and other places because there are so many and not enough muir housing. i heard this flip flops around sometime due to how many applied/ accepted into which college. if there is overflow at one specific college, students will be transfered to other housing colleges.

but mainly, yes you stay in your own college. it only makes sense, thats how the ucsd college system works.

Hmm… Revelle. The food doesn’t compare to OVT or Cafe V, but really it’s no big deal. The food is decent enough.

The biggest complaint from my friends who are in Revelle are the GE’s. They have the hardest GE’s next to ERC.
