Reverse a P/NP?

Hi all,

I hate finals, anyways...I changed one of my classes to P/NP but now I want to change it back. Is this possible?

thanks

The deadline for doing so was long ago... I'd ask your advisor ASAP if you want to try...

let me rephrase

Does anyone know of an instance where the status of grading was changed from P/NP to letter grade after the deadline, and what were the circumstances surrounding the approval of that change?

Thanks

Berkeley is pretty unforgiving about deadlines. If you miss it that's that- that's pretty much what my advisor said.

Unless you have a legitimate reason, such as being in the hospital the day of the final exam, it's unlikely you'll get to reverse a P/NP.

I emailed my advisor and she hasn't gotten back to me yet. The thing is I took a class, didn't do so hot on the MT,and changed my status to P/NP. However, I crammed all night and I'm pretty sure I ripped it up for the final and probably got a B in the course. The class counts for my major and I wanted to know if I could revert it back to letter-grade. I'm kicking myself right now.

I've heard of more than one person who earned A/A+ grades in courses they were taking P/NP, and the administration wouldn't let them revert to the letter grade option...

wish i could reverse for astroc10 :( oh well
