Reverse Chance Me and Suggestions

Hey all! I don’t really have that many schools in my mind apart from Rutgers - my state flagship and my last choice in general. So please help me find other schools I could be a candidate for!
Looking to major in Civil Engineering/Industrial Engineering
South Asian Male from NJ
GPA: 4.1 Weighted (3.7 unweighted)
SAT: 1410 (retaking and looking to boost up to 1530+ in August)
ACT: N/A (taking in September)
Subject Test: Math 2 - 800 Physics - 790
11 AP’s 10-12 (none in Freshman year because school does not allow)
Sophomore year: APUSH (5)
Junior Year: Calc AB (5) Bio (5), World History (5) and English Lang (5)
Senior Year: AP Macroeconomics/Microeconomics, AP English Lit, AP Environmental Science, AP US Gov and Pol, AP Statistics
Extracurriculars: Editors Board for Model UN Club, Academic Team co president, Publicity chair for township education association, Jersey Boys State Delegate, BAE Systems summer intern, Treasurer for French Honor Society, FBLA, NHS member (along with other honor societies), Worked with a nonprofit fitness organization in my local town that also did work in nearby lower income cities, US Soccer Licensed Referee
Middle Class in NJ, single parent only working
LOR: Physics Teacher (9/10), pretty active in the class and definitely communicated with her as much as possible on the subject material
AP World Teacher (10/10), Him and I were extremely close, and we became very good friends with each other. No problem with this one.

Key Things:
Greek Life should be little to not as much of a presence, I don’t mind partying but I genuinely don’t care too much about fraternities.
ROI and Job Placement should be pretty good as well
I’m from Central Jersey, but my parents want me to keep schools in mainly the Northeastern/Mid-Atlantic, and potentially the Midwest.

Thank You!

Clarkson has fantastic ROI/job placement. I know several grads, all loved it, and all are very successful post-grad. Rowan has a great engineering program. We met a few civil majors and they were very enthusiastic about the program. Manhattan (if you don’t mind Catholic) strong in civil especially, and offers great access to NYC. NJIT?

Thank you for your advice! Do you think I can only get into these schools? I feel like I can do slightly better, pardon me if I’m coming off as someone who’s bragging.

Do you have any budget constraints? RPI would be a match for you.

@geogod678 I believe you will have lots of options academically. I just wanted to give you some schools where I thought you would get merit as you noted you had only one income. If you have no budget constraints you will have many options!

Your profile pic is the University of Rochester, which I would assume you would know a little bit about? How likely do you think my chances are with an improved (1500+) SAT?

I’d say it’s a match. Full disclosure, my daughter is transferring out due to a large reduction in FA. Almost all of her friends had reductions as well, some quite big, and another one is also transferring. While speaking to some of her upperclassmen friends, all know of someone from their freshman year who also had to transfer out due to financial reasons. Go in with your eyes open.
