Instead of the usual what are my chances at ____, how about some suggestions for what schools fit me based on my stats or what I could do to be better :) Thanks!
Engineering schools pleaseeeeeeeee prob civil
TESTS
SAT 2170 - 700s in each but lowish b/c im so rounded ugh
ACT 32 composite
SAT IIs haven't done yet - looking to do physics & math 2. maybe french
GPA unweighted 3.85 hopefully i can improve it
GPA weighted 4.8
(School on 7 point scale so a few Bs :( whatever my school offers a ton of APs)
CLASSES
I only take challenging classes pretty much, will have done 10 by end of senior year
Only know about the 5 in AP euro from last year so far, but for APs i'll have chem, physics b, environmental science, stats, calc (idk which), latin, english lang, english lit done too eventually.
I don't take online classes or anything weird, I get like the same grades in all my classes.
EXTRAS
-I run year-round (for varsity I guess) cross country, indoor track, outdoor track, am in lots of clubs and honor society in which I will have at least 4 leadership positions by graduation.
-I'm hispanic. if that helps. know French, Spanish. Should i say that? I also have moved during high school. does that matter?
OTHER
-service diploma for over 200 hours, many with the science museum
-tutor latin and have gotten 1st place in National Latin Exam every year, but I don't think it's that exclusive.........

I like cities! other places welcome too though. I'm not devoted to anywhere like at all.

Where would you go if you had no bias and were me?
THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU HAVE NO IDEA
ps Im new here

What is your home state and what can your family afford?

Hmm… Here are a few schools off the top of my head.

Safety: Purdue, WPI.
Match: Georgia Tech, UIUC, RIT, RPI.
Reach: UMich, Cornell, CMU, Harvey Mudd.

Not all of these are near a city, but you never know what you may end up liking…

also maybe: URochester, Carnegie Mellon, GW, University of VA, Trinity (CT)
Being an URM helps so indicate that you are Spanish on the application.

University of Rochester, University of Michigan, Cornell, Carnegie Mellon, and Drexel all come to mind.
