<p>Just a little super-PC, anti-racist thing of mine: On account of the connotations of the words “forward” and “reverse,” the phrase “reverse racism,” as used in this thread, is offensive as it implies that there is a ‘correct’ direction for racism/discrimination and that it is against minorities.</p>
<p>“Ginger” is usually not considered derogatory nor a slur. Besides that, generally, in race confrontations, whites are in the position of power, making discrimination against them very different, and race is generally a less salient fact to whites, again, making the discrimination very different. I’m not one of those who holds that there is no such thing as racism against whites indeed, I consider that view small-minded but it is important to recognize the context of discrimination to understand its severity.</p>
