<p>Hey! I’m a High School Senior studying in an American curriculum school in Saudi Arabia. I was wondering if anyone on the site could chance me for getting into the undergraduate electrical engineering program at McGill. Here are my credentials:</p>
<p>Unweighted GPA: 3.85
Weighted GPA: 4.3</p>
<p>SAT I: 800 Math, 670 C.R, 710 W (2180)
SAT II’s: Math 1 (740), Math 2(720), Physics (690), Chemistry (700), Biology M (730)
TOEFL: 114</p>
<p>AP Biology: 5
AP Language & Composition: 4
Taking AP Calculus AB, AP Computer Science, and AP Chemistry examinations at the end of the year.
*Did NOT take AP Physics (taking regular Physics this year), so this could majorly effect my admission chances. Although, I did study for the physics SAT II and got 690. *</p>
<p>NOTE: I have a lot of E.Cs, including Habitat for Humanity Service Trip, Habitat club Treasurer, Debate Club V.P of Education, Student Council President (Grade 9), Student Council 11th Grade Representative, Model United Nations delegate, School Newspaper Writer (Grade 9, 11), National Honors Society Member (NHS), Basketball JV/V Team, Volleyball JV.</p>
<p>If it helps, I am a Canadian citizen and am applying all over Canada, but I really want to be able to have the change to go to McGill.</p>

<p>Do you think they’d read a letter of continued interest? McGill is my first choice, and I sent one to my other top choice school that I’d been deferred from, but seeing as McGill doesn’t read essays for applications, would they even read it?</p>
<p>I’m in the same boat as you guys. So I applied to Mc Gill in chemical engineering and in computer and electrical engineering. 10 days After I submitted my mid year report (they asked for it) I got accepted to computer and electrical engineering: My status went from “further review required” immediately to “Accepted” without passing trough “Reviewed decision pending”. At the exact same time, my application to chemical engineering went from “further review required” to “reviewed-decision pending”. It’s been almost 15 days, but i don’t get it why did they immediately accept me in Computer and electrical Engineering and not yet in Chemical Eng? Is it a more competitive program? I’m an international applicant btw, french baccalaureate also.</p>

<p>Haha I wish I knew what those meant. Do you possibly have an SAT score or maybe a GPA out of 5?</p>
<p>Haha I didn’t send my SAT scores but I got 700 on maths 580 CR and 580 W, SAT 2 maths 1 740 maths 2 710 physics 680 and french 800. I think a 17/20 would be a gpa of 4,0/4,0 (weighted)! I hope it helps!</p>
