I’m still waiting on the interfaculty arts and science program, thought I got into arts in February. To those still waiting - I just talked to a very informed-sounding person on the phone, at servicepoint, and she said that it’ll be up to two more weeks until they’re done with the US student applications. Frustrating, but it was nice to have a straighter answer. So long as you’re reviewed-decision pending, you’re all set.

The thing about Canadian schools is that their admission process is all over the place. They don’t have a definite date for when they release their decisions (some schools like UBC or Queens will even take until JUNE to tell you their decision, which is absolutely insane). For McGill, it’s part rolling admission, part the major you’re studying.

I was freaking out about the ‘decision pending’ thing as well, but they finally told me my decision about a month ago.

So keep looking at the Minerva page and they will definitely respond to all of you soon.

GOOD LUCK, and hopefully see you at McGill!!

My son was accepted into Art and Science program quite soon after he got “reviewed-decision pending” but it took more than two months to be accepted into management school. So do not worry. I think this is not a bad sign at all.

I don’t have the courage to accept the offer of Science. I’m afraid Mcgill will reject my other application because it is “pending” status. But the deadline is May 1st. Pretty annoying.

i got in on wednesday!!! sooo happy right now :D

I applied in mid Nov, my file was completed in mid Dec, and my status changed to reviewed decision pending in Feb 15… (I’ve been waiting ever since)… I applied to Desautels faculty of management & applied as in international IB student only… some of you are saying that their only reviewing U.S applications now, but anyone know when they’ll start looking at international applicants? thanks.

Overseas international student date is January 16 - May 11, 2012. So you could potentially have to wait until May 11, sorry.

American transfer student here (from a community college). Applied to two programs; Arts and Management. Was rejected from Management yesterday (missing prerequisite), and “Reviewed - Decision Pending” for Arts.

I have been Reviewed - Decision pending for a month now… I go to an american school outside US&Canada, should I worry?

darkkoopa, don’t worry about that… in my year tons of people had that status for well over a month (it’s so annoying) and were eventually accepted. so don’t worry (:

Guess I shouldn’t worry yet seeing as it’s only about three weeks now. :P

Thank you for your reply,

I am worrying because I have to give my decision to a few universities by may 1st :/

do they send you an e-mail when you get accepted or ,do I have to check minerva every day.

they send u an email telling you to check minerva

Hi everyone,
I’ve been “Reviewed-Decision Pending” for a week, and today I’ve been wait listed for the Desautels Bcom. The problem is that I’m French, so if I am accepted I’d have to do lot of immigration papers which takes a lot of time … Does any of you knows when will I receive the final decision ?

I’m applying with the International Baccalaureate program and my prediction was a 35/45. I applied for Faculty of the Arts and was already accepted to Faculty of Education at Mcgill. I have had “Reviewed- Decision Pending” since February and as the days go by I grow less and less optimistic about receiving an acceptance Do I have high chances on getting rejected?

Checked minerva today and got finally accepted to Desautels ! Sooo happy !
That means for everyone on waiting list that you have chance to get accepted !
Good luck everyone, hope you’ll all be accepted :)

its may 11 today and every international should be released by now but mine still says decision pending, what is wrong and what should I do ?

You can call them but they can’t probably tell you much until the decision is made. I say it is still not a bad sign, they went pass the deadline too for many US applicants. The people who has no chance get rejected early and the people at the very end seem to be on the cusp so it can go either way. Good luck.

My “decision pending” status has changed into “waiting list” today. Does it means I won’t get a chance?
